This is for legitimate purposes...

I am a network systems tech. A new client, has been locked out of his company info by a previous tech who walked out and changed the administrator password for the company db. I am in the process of trying to recover what I can. I have looked through the .inf files for indications of Usernames and Passwords and have come up pretty empty. I need to know if there is a way to unlock the admin password for the account. Worst case scenario is that the customer wil have to recreate his entire customer account base. Through some reading it seems that Intuit Tech support can help unlock it for a $$FEE$$. I would like to try and avoid this if I can. I am doing the work as a favor, and I am trying to avoid passing charges on to the customer. Again, I am not asking for a crack for the software, The customer owns the software and it is legitimately installed. As I am not very familiar with QuickBooks, I am assuming that the Account db itself has been passworded by a previous disgruntled technician. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
