If a trailing period is added to a file extension (fname.exe., for example) MailSafe does not recognize the file type and will not block a dangerous type. Windows and most apps will ignore the period and execute or process the file.

I understand ZA has a partial fix (I don't use MailSafe so haven't checked) but in any case look for a trailing period before clicking on any mail attachment.
