Triple booting win98se win2k and xp
I have a dual boot setup with 98se and 2k and I am getting xp pro version in a couple weeks....I need to know if I can run the install to an open partition and have it automatically setup the Tri-boot for me....I do not want to lose access to my win98 boot option....what is the best way to accomplish this...I do not have partition magic and do not want to buy it either so this is not an option.....but if this is feasible without partition magic I would like to do it.
I have a 40 gig drive partitioned into 2 20 gig drives and a 20 gig in 2 10 gig drives and have 98se on the primary partition on the 40 gig and 2k on the primary partition of the 20 gig and would like to put xp on the extended partion of the 20 gig and do the installation from inside my 98 partition as that is where the 2k boot loader resides..
what do you think
