acpi and cooling cpu
Is it possible that if you disable acpi and go to standard pc that the computer could run several degrees celcius cooler than under acpi? also If I go back to the standard pc mode how can I make the computer automatically shutdown.
I set it to standard pc last night and it did run several degrees cooler but I do not know why does anyone have an answer for this and also the shutdown issue can I make it auto shutdown without acpi enabled
