Need some technical advice. On startup and restart I get a blue screen crash in APIX.VXD just about every time the system boots. So far I have:
1. Renamed and replaced using sfc.
2. Downloaded the updated files from the adaptec website (I have Easy CD Creator software installed)
Deleted and reinstalled since renaming to apix.old did not work.
3. Uninstalled and re-installed the Adaptec software.
4. Uninsatlled and re-installed the video drivers. There is an updated driver available but it causes other problems with my system.
5. Refrained from introducing my system to the business end of a shotgun.
Anybody have any other ideas?
