For example, I use the Snipping Tool and save the jpg to the desktop. Then when I try to attach it to an email or upload it to a site, the file isn't visible.

If I use Everything to find it, it's supposedly on the desktop but I can't attach it if I can't see it.

The next thing I tried was saving it to other locations, a folder on the desktop or the root of C:\ same thing, not visible.

I finally managed to upload the file to a site by dragging it straight from Everything.

Any idea how to fix this?
