Accessibility and the Windows 10 Free Upgrade
As you may have heard, the free Windows 10 upgrade offer for customers running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 is set to end on July 29, but that that deadline will *not* apply to customers who use assistive technologies or people with disabilities. If you are a user of Assistive Technology and are still using Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 and want to wait to upgrade, don’t forget that you will still have the opportunity to upgrade at no cost even after the Windows 10 free upgrade period ends. Microsoft will have a page available on July 29 for people using AT to take advantage of the free upgrade offer.
