We have a number of PCs here at work. All running Windows 7. One is shared by three people for email, etc (I'll call it A). Another one (I'll call it B) use A's printer through the network. It's not a network printer but attached to A.

Someone installed Windows 10 on A (GRRRRRRR). Okay, I thought, we'll use this one as the guinea pig. It seems to run fine (not many apps on it tbh). However, B can no longer print on A's printer. I checked the 10's sharing function and, indeed, it is sharing.

I went to B and deleted the printer. I then tried to to add A's printer to B. I can easily locate A on the network. When I try to see the printers attached to A, a window pops up asking me for the name & password of the network:

I enter the name of our workgroup but it never had a password associated with it and I can't get past the screen asking for a password.

What am I missing?

Thanks in advance,

Terry
