If you are using the HTTPS-Everywhere addon for Firefox or Chrome and you're getting an Error 404 when clicking on images in Google Search, try the following:

Open HTTPS-Everywhere options
Enter Google in the Search box
Uncheck "Google Videos" (Change green check to red X)
Click OK

There is an option for "Google Images", but unchecking that doesn't fix the problem.
