Not sure if this topic fits into here for discussion and help.

I am using Win 7 and Chrome as my browser. Over the years, I have many 'favorites' stored in Internet Explorer (from Win 95 to Win 7) with many imported folders: just a huge list of hundreds, if not thousands, of favorites, all in alphabetical order, which is not too convenient. Now I want to organize and categorize them into several lists/folders within Chrome, such as:
- Business/Investment
- Music & Videos
- Laws and Regulations
- Logics & Negotiation Skills
- Educational
- Health & Food

A dumb way is to go thru each favorite in the original list/folder and then add them one by one to a Favorite Folder of the correct category... (and then delete the source list/folder).

Is there a smarter way - like exporting them onto a word document and then opening up a whole bunch of additional documents (of different Favorite categories), and then copy and paste onto the appropriate document, and then import the list into the Chrome "Favorite Folder" of each category... please tell me how I can use this list to create/import into the Folder...

Many thanks.
