I know lots of people are against using RAID 0. The first time I heard it was from Nick.

For some apparent reasons, I have stuck to RAID 0 for almost 3-4 years now and it worked out well for me. However, I might switch back to single drive because recently, in the search for these answers in the last few days, I also came across an article that said RAID 0 does not support TRIM for the SSDs.

I have seen a huge performance impact on my SSDs lately. But I also notice the way to get around this is just reimage the computer with Acronis after a month and the computer is like spanking brand new again. I reimage my computer, at least, every other week anyway; just to ensure there are no malware, trojans, worms, etc...

If I did not RAID 0, I doubt my speed would be anywhere close to 350mb sequential read.
