[RESOLVED] Vaio RAM Upgrade
Hiya
I have an old Sony Vaio PCG-GRZ630 laptop that came originally with two sticks of 256 MB DDR. I went to Crucial.com and ran through their RAM identifier thing and landed on the proper maximum upgrade which is two sticks of 512 MB DDR to total 1 GB. I installed both sticks and booted up. Posted OK, Windows XP (SP3) loaded OK. But when I didn't see any speed increase, I checked System Properties. It is only recognizing and using (apparently) 512 MB. Only one stick is being used. Did I miss a step? Something in BIOS (Phoenix) need adjusting?
Thanks.
