IE5.1 tmp internet folder
I'm just starting to use IE5 rather than Navigator full time and wanted to move the temp folder to another location on a larger partition to save space on my boot partition.
Using the Move Folder button in options/settings it was easy but for some reason it's storing a duplicate of every file in the original location "C:\windows\temporary internet files" anyway as well as my new location "D:\temporary internet files".
The move process also created the Content.IE5 sub folder at the new location and deleted it from the standard location.
Does anyone know what the point of offering a move location option is in IE if it's just going to create 2 sets of the same space hogging files and how the heck do I stop it?
Stranger and stranger M$.
