(I'm using a Compac Pressario C700)
Ok so.. not too long ago I came back from a trip... I noticed a problem with my laptop when I first got to my hotel. I turned my computer on and forgot to plug it in.. It was 100% charged.. dropped down to under 10% within 10 minutes. I don't know if the altitude messed up my battery, or maybe the scanner zapped it? Who knows.. (I should have left the laptop home)

So jumping ahead.. when I got back. about a week later.. I turn my computer on to a lovely arrange of loud beeps.. before I know it.. my password screen pops up then goes away.. and I'm left with the background color.. dead battery. I hurriedly went and bought a new battery.

I purchased this battery: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A294P4X9EWVXLJ

The specs matched, and it has my laptop name in the title..

So here's the problem.. I started using this battery.. and a couple days later (yesterday), at night when I went to shut my computer off, I noticed the blue light indicator for the battery was blinking blue(normal color, didn't turn yellow or red or anything. Also it never blinks, so that was strang).. today I noticed the battery indicator is still blinking. I looked at the battery icon on my desktop, and it says it's plugged in, and it's NOT charging.

I tried using someones method just now of uninstalling the "Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery", then scanning my computer for drivers and having it install again.. but that didn't fix it. I tried to put my old battery back in to see if it would still blink, but that battery is totally dead now.

So I'm a little confused right now.... any help would be appreciated. Thank you(: (also, I'm not sure if I should run off the power supply right now, instead of the battery...)
