I got a brand new machine with win 7 64 bit. I live in an RV park and rely on their wifi for internet. This week I bought a wireless router called Wifi Ranger. It works beautifully
on my old XP desktop and my Vista laptop. the PCI wi fi adaptor in the XP machine didn't transfer to the Win 7 machine. Drivers out of date, etc. So i bought an Asus USB N-13 adaptor. It didn't detect any networks, and the wizard hung up so I couldn't get anywhere with installation. then I thought about connecting the Wi Fi Ranger via its LAN cable. Sure enough, I got online but I'm still not seeing the park's networks or the Ranger. I'm trying to bring up the control panel on the Ranger but it's not loading. I'm confused! I'll bet you are too by this post. When I've tried to manually install the Ranger's SSID and key, i get a dialogue saying
"an error has been encountered". this prevents me from installing the wi fi Ranger router
and putting the park's wi fi networks through the Ranger. As for the Asus USB adaptor....
