Hello, I am posting for the second time, after receiving fantastic curative help with a spyware issue on another computer:

I have a dell pentium 4, running windows XP. I recently formatted for bad spyware/viruses and was then running well. My parents have been using it since, and it recently was infected with one of those spyware/virus which results in general slowdown and many pop ups stating that the computer is infected and to "click here to remove all 200 viruses!".
I did a system restore to a date that I knew the computer to be running well. Since that time several issues have arisen:

1. The computer will freeze several moments after start up, especially if one attempts to open firefox.
2. The mouse cursor can move about the screen, but sometimes it can't actually click on anything. Word/explorer/media files load occasionally without issue, but firefox and MBAM.exe (loaded via usb key) will not open. The cursor changes to the time piece and the entire computer freezes and requires a hard reboot.
3. I have on occasion received this message when I start the computer: ANIQZCS2 Service Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to shut down.... I understand this is related to D-link wireless device (which the computer does use and was previously not an issue).

So at the moment the big issue is not being able to load firefox or any anti-spyware software on the computer. Any help appreciated.
