Mouse freezes when anything USB powered is added
Hi, guys,
It's been a while, mainly because I've had no problems, but recently I've noticed that when I add a USB powered "drive" like a camera or MP3 player to the m/c, my Logitech wireless mouse freezes up. Nothing else causes the problem, in fact I have been wondering why MS have brought out 7 as I was very happy with Vista! I try to operate the PC by key strokes but ctrl-alt-del cannot shut down the M/c. It goes to the "shutting down" window and stays there. 30sec hold of off button then comes in to play!
It's a Medion Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz, 3.0GB RAM running Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2. All updates have been applied. Correct Security procedures and housekeeping in place.
Any help will be appreciated.
