[RESOLVED] Testing out System Restore - did not complete successfully
I've tried in safe mode also but I can't get System Restore to complete successfully.
Msg:
System Restore did not complete successfully.
System Restore could not access a file.
This is probably becasuse an Antivirus Program is running on the computer. Disable the Antivirus program and retry.
An unspecified error occurred during System Restore (0x80070005)
I tried System Restore with my Antivirus Program and firewall (Norton) disabled and my wireless disabled with the same results.
What can I try?
I'll try this in the mean time. I have a HP Laptop G60-535DX.

This is the Norton step I missed to my problem.
In Network Settings
Click Miscellaneous Settings , and then click the button next to Norton Product Tamper Protection to turn the protection Off.
