Hi guys

I recently bought a new multipoint for all of my plugs. after changing my equipmet to the new multipoint my pc no longer powers on. I have changed back to the old multipoint and have tried plugging the pc straight into the wall but to no avail.

I've changed the fuse and nothing so i'm guessing thta the PSU is dead? I have a plugin electricity monitor and my pc always consumes electricity even when off and it is still consuming that electricity after this problem started. Where this is going now that the PSU is possibly dead i don't know, but it seems that power is being drawn by the pc. The power button itself just does nothing.

What should i be looking at here? a new PSU? whould i try and get the same PSU? what about a slightly higher voltage/amperage/whatever? bad for the pc?

I have never bought or installed a PSU before so am totally clueless here so please be gntle with me
