well it took me a couple days to get up the nerve to hit the damn button ... after reading all the problems people were having with HP products on the hp support forums I just couldn't bring myself to have a million and one problems to solve especially since HP isn't offering windows 7 support for this laptop which is only 18 months old .... since SuperSparks and Train both said go ahead hit the button I finally did it tonight .... and everything went great ...

so here I am with the windows 7 RC installed and providing it doesn't give me any problems I'll be purchasing the retail version and saying goodbye forever to VISTA ....
