Well I really do not know if this is exactly the same as the blue screen of death, but I am now occasionally getting a blue screen of death on my computer which doesn't stay on the screen long enough for me to read it. But another little trouble report pops up when the left alone computer reboots itself in normal mode. This screen has a little window says something like trouble report with a little inner window beneath it which has the following information on it.

So I do not know if this is the exact same information as if I stopped the blue screen before the computer rebooted itself. But I think it might be a good starting point to tell me more about my problem if I can find a good source of information on this little screen. As for the part of this screen with the label "files that describe this problem" I can follow the path to the file with the dmp extension however clicking on it yields a question about what program to view it in and viewing in a notepad doesn't work. As for the other two files beneath the one ending with the dmp extension following the path I simply can't see them even though I have my computer configured to show extensions.

I have Windows Vista home premium 64-bit operating system, Pentium dual core processor with 6 gigs of RAM, and my computer model is Gateway® DX4710-09.

So what do you think I should do next. I have already had to rebuild my system once using the recovery disk even though it is not that old. It sure would be great if you could help me here and I could avoid doing that again.
Sincerely Marc
