My wife has been lured into visiting some potentially bad places and I think she has contracted a VTD (Virtually Transmitted Disease) on her computer. I was able to get her Norton AV Scan running before I left for work, but I was wondering if there are some other scans I could run to verify that the machine is clean. I have access to another computer at home on which I can download any needed programs and move them to the potentially infected patient for diagnostic tests.

I would appreciate any advice on dealing with this.
