Just checking updating a version of Firefox
According to Kaspersky Labs, there is a java vulnerability in the browser I am having a blast with.....Firefox 3.0.11.

It appears here on virus list:
http://www.viruslist.com/en/advisories/35914
It appears here on secunia (one great security site):
http://secunia.com/advisories/35914/
Since I am kinda new to Firefox....just checking before I pull the trigger.
If I am going from version 3.0.11 to 3.0.12, is this just an add-on, or do I need to un-install the previous version 1st, please?
Proper instructions I found are here:
http://www.techsupportalert.com/firefox_install.htm
So....just checking with my friends here as well as the resident experts.
It is VERY difficult to browse without java enabled, and I have got to get RID of IE version 8, that I detest.
Yep...I searched 1st and only found going to an entire new version which is 3.5.
I'm pleased with what I've got and will go to 3.5 later.
Thanks for any suggestions on updating my default browser.
