Keystroke emulator software to input data into online system
I used some PC software 11+ years ago, that could read a file and input the data into an Online system (internet, Mainframe, PC based, didn't matter) it was emulating a person keying the data (tabbing to a field, input the data, tab to another field, hitting enter, or whatever a live person would do).
Does this sound familar to anyone, or are they aware of something similar?
I have an urgent / temporary business need. The client has committed to hiring a Temp force to manually key in about 3,000 transactions a day for about 1 month. (this is crazy and errors will be outragous).
I thought the PC software I used along time ago was called "!NOW" but I can't find anything and that may not be the correct name.
Please help, I'm trying to find a solution to an very ugly busines situation.
(obviously and systematic interface is the correct way to handle this, but not viable in this situation).
