[RESOLVED] How to reformat without XP CD?
Hi there,
I have an "older" desktop system that I dragged up from the basement a week or so ago to put back into use. It currently has XP Pro installed on it.
I've decided to install the Windows 7 Release Candidate on it.
The computer has 2 harddrives currently labelled as "C" and "H".
The plan was to use the XP File Transfer Wizard to shift all the user files from C onto H and then reformat C and install Windows 7.
The problem I've run into is that I guess in order to reformat a XP drive, one needs the XP install CD. I have the CD, it is in one of about 200 boxes stored in my basement and storage locker. Is there another way of reformatting my C drive?
Thanks
