Okay...my hardrive has been clicking since July 08. It has been getting increasingly worse over the past several weeks. I purchased a external hardrive and copied all my files to. I even download Macrium Reflect and copied the entire OS (I think).
When the hardrive begins to click, it temporarily freezes the computer, slows down the processes, and I sometimes have to restart the computer.
My question....
Is there a way that the harddrive can be fixed(rather than replaced)? The PC is only a 1.5 years old. Also, is there a way that I can have it run off the external hardrive as the main HD?
