I cannot figure out why AIM creates so many files during its session!

YOU CAN DELETE EVERYTHING IT CREATES!! (Saving space)

What is in these files anyway?

I cant imagine how much space is wasted on someone's machene who doesnt delete them all after they close aim!! (More are added each time)

Why do these programs create so many useless temp files,etc .. Just doesnt make any sense to me! (Why cant they be clean cut like some programs are (No cleanup required after use))
