SATA Hard drive on laptop
I cannot start windows because of corrupted files.(XP) on a Dell Laptop. If remove the HD and connect it to my PC would I would run into any problems doing this. The SATA HD on the laptop has the same connectors as my PC and it will plug in. I need to get data off the laptop HD and then I will reformat. I thought at first before I removed the laptop HD that it had an IDE connector so I ordered the adapter. I removed it today and seen it had the SATA Drive in it. Just wanted to ask and make sure others have done this. I am on a run of bad luck so I approach anything with caution. td
