My hard drive (now drives) have been acting up recently. So much so, that I replaced my old drive with a new one and reinstalled all of my stuff.

I began to get chkdsk runs with lots of $I20 orphans, ect issues on the old one and LOTS of lockups.

I managed to get into the drive and was able to move all of my important files to offcomputer storage (carbonite).

I put in a new drive and over the course of a few days began to reinstall all my programs. No issues.

Began to restore my backed up files and beginning to see the same issues I had before.

One of the things I am seeing now is that my HDD is constantly being accessed even when doing benign operations like light surfing of the web. The drive just hums away.

Putting a HJT file here in hopes someone spots something.
