Was considering trying to repair winxp using the system disk instead of reformatting... Is this procedure difficult enough to be left alone to a pro? The p/c in question had a ton of malware, spyware, etc which Spybot, and another program removed. Defragged also. But it still has issues......... Still starts very slow, and has a pop up with c:/windows/privacy_danger/index.htm. I guess I should post this in another thread....... thanks
