Defrag C Drive
I am using a IBM VL400 CPU with Windows XP. It has SP2 with 192 Mb [yes, 192 Mb] 797MH. Intel Pen III. Problem is when I Defrag the C Drive I get a error message.[*] "Disk defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume. Please run Chkdsk /f. " when I use chkdsk /f I get only "cannot lock current drive" I did not think I was locking any thing? Or that I had a schedule for this action. How do I get the[*] off so that I can defrag the disk. I have 15% spare on the disk to defrag.
