DIY CPU, need help.........
Ever since I first started building computers I thought I’d like to make a better CPU that Intel. I had the feeling that there’s actually not much to it, so I sat down in my workshop and pondered the situation. For months I tried different methods then Eureka, I found by elimination that a beer bottle top works brilliantly. Cooling was a bit of a problem at first but I’ve now succeeded by using a stock Intel HSF.
So far I’ve found that a Guinness top is about the fastest that I’ve tried, it’s probably equal to 1800 mhz. I feel that I really need to go dual core so I’m experimenting with sticking two together with superglue.
My reason for letting you all know this at this early stage is to get help with all the testing.
So if anyone has any time on their hands and is willing to help let me know, we could easily get rich quick.
