Sony RDR-HXD870 HDD
Hi all
I have a Sony RDR-HXD870 hard disk recorder connected to my TV, do you think this would work.
Now as you now I'm obsessed with HDD failure and at the moment if the HDD fails in my recorder it's not known if I could replace it myself or if I'd have to have it repaired in a service centre.
So I was thinking, once the guarantee expires I could remove the HDD and copy it with Ghost or Acronis true image, then put the drive away and use it as a spare. Or perhaps better still take an image of the drive with the same software and restore it to a new drive if the original fails.
Appreciate any thoughts, would this work???????
Qualifications:
I have read:
Windows 3.11 for Dummies
Windows 95 for Dummies (Second Chapter)
Fed up with UK 0870 Phone Numbers
Backup Boogaloo, you know it makes sense to do.
