So I recently built my new machine. I replaced my IDE CDRW with a new SATA DVDRW which claims that it can burn CDs at 48x. With Nero 6.x, I only get a max speed of 32x. I have used the same CDRs on my IDE CDRW before and burned them with a speed of 52x. So I know its not the media.

I updated the firmware on it and still the same issue. I also get an error in the end but CD is usable. I haven't burned any DVDs yet.
