The machine quit twice Saturday afternoon, and again once today.

Message displayed: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

STOP ERROR 0X000000D1

This happened just after installing Quick Time and Real Player.

STOP ERROR 0X0000008E

I was running Real Player and FIREFOX and listening to radio stream from the BBC.

4/3/7 about midday….. I was away from the machine and came back to see the Blue Screen…….

STOP ERROR 0X0000008E. The same error as yesterday. The same software was open. I rebooted the machine and the same software has been running for over 7 hours, without incident.

A mate of mine suggested that it may be an incompatibility with the Graphics Card. Any possibility here? It has on-board graphics. Should I remove the card? I assume that the onboard graphics must be disabled….
