Windows Aero: confused about graphics card requirements
I'm considering a new notebook, and the graphics card I see for the majority of those in my price range is "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950."
A search on yahoo has given me conflicting reports on whether this card supports the Windows Aero Glass visuals that are part of Vista. Some sites say it does; some say it doesn't. The various notebook mfr's sites aren't much of a help either. Some show that systems with this card are "Windows Vista capable" while others show those systems as "Windows Vista Premium ready."
Is there anything definitive out there, or will we only know for sure after we install Vista?
