Can't Get 256-bit Color On My Windows 95
A few months ago, Windows 95 was wiped off my Compaq Presario 7240 due to a CleanSweep 95 error. Thanks to the helpful folks at VirtualDr, I was able to get it back up and running. The only problem is, I can't use the CD-Rom drive for anything but sound-only discs. Most of my game discs have to have 256-bit color to play. I believe I need to have something called an S3 disc. Could anyone tell me precisely what disc to buy to solve this?
Thanks,
prov
