Need to run CHKDSK but my comp keeps re booting
Ok, so I am not very computer savy. I need some serious help. About 3 weeks ago I had my computer on when the power went out. When I turned it back on everything seemed normal. When I turn on my computer each day it has an alert message. (Alert previous fan failure press f1 to continue or f2 for set up. The fan has been replaced and works properly). So I press F1 and continue to boot up. Now normaly it would boot properly and I continue on to windows. But now It says it needs to check the disk for consistancy. It gives me a countdown of 10 seconds and then starts. It says starting step 1 of three. Now here is where my problem starts. It gets anywhere from 10 percent to as much as 98 percent on the first step and then my computer reboots back to my alert message. I continue on through like normal and everything starts over again. It never gets past step one. Now I can cancel the disk check and get to windows and even get online (well obviously). But I would like to run the complete chkdsk to fix my problem. Any help at this point would be appreciated.
