System Configuration Utility?
Hi,
I am a bit antiquated when it comes to OS's. I have always used Windows ME for many years, and am now retooling to Windows 2000.
In Windows ME, I can control what programs or apps. load or start at startup, by using "start/programs/accessories/system tools/system information ", then using System Configuration Utility, under the Tools button.
I can't find any thing like that in System Info. in Windows 2000. I have found a Task Manager, that just lets me stop proccesses. In "Control Panel/Admin. Tools/Comp. Managment/System info/Software Environment/Startup Programs" I found the things that do startup, but can't seem to find a way to disable certain items.
Can anyone help me with how to control what does startup and what doesn't?
Please help, and thanks for your time and effort,
Ken
