Another older motherboard question...
Hi! I'm thinking about buying a larger hard drive for my second computer (workstation2 in my sig). It uses the Intel SE440BX-2 motherboard, and I was wondering if anyone knows what is tha largest IDE hdd that this board will support? I know it'll probably support a 40gb drive, but I want to find out if i can get something bigger. I don't want to have to buy a pci controller card, or use a disc overlay. I have a 8.5 gig SCSI 160 drive in there right now, but I was looking for something for storage.
I woulden't mind trying a BIOS update if anyone knows where to find one at. I have an identical motherboard if anything goes wrong.
-TIA
