pretty sure it is illegal, hence all the DRM protection, but will a normal program convert the WMV files for you? and in my opinion as long as you don't benefit financially, or for that matter punish anyone financially then you should be able to do what you want. i personally have quite a few TV episodes and even though technically that’s illegal, i hardly feel it's worth punishing over. i mean these things are freely available on TV and me downloading them is just the same as recording them. After all many TV companies are spending millions to try and offer us these programs over the net so I’m just a little a head of them
. surprised you have downloaded so much. I didn’t find much I wanted unfortunately. The movies I didn’t think there was a great choice and I only really wanted 2 or 3 of them. Also while the sports section is good for catching short highlights and the best bits of some of the football programs I would not download these but rather stream them. If they had the whole of soccerAM or extended match highlights then I would be downloading a lot. Also at the moment football is all I want off sky sports anyway and the highlights are way to short for my likening. But I assume all this is due for legal reasons and it’s just a test anyway. Can’t wait until these kind of things are up and running and embraced by the people who make the media rather than limited by them so much.
