As we tune into Virtual DR, we find senseigreen in his lair, the Fortress of Frustration. He is trying to resurect an older model Micron PC (700 Mhz, 129 Mb RAM) by inserting a new 120G HD and reinstalling Win ME as was on there before the thing was crashing repeatedly. With the previous 20G HD, WinME/ Explorer would freeze or the screen would "wig out" by pixelating the entire screen and not responding to anything. All he could do was unplug and retry.

He tried to install IE 6 to "improve", logged onto pcpitstop.com and tried to analyze the potential probems, but the software would not download.

Your job should you accept, is to tell him :
A- has this happened to you?
and B-if anything CAN be done.

He shines his assistance signal into the sky and ......(your cue to drop the dime!)
