Windows Defender error 0x80004003
I had a similar problem with updating Windows Defender...I followed the advice here and was able to successfuly update the definition files. Now, another problem has cropped up...I clicked on the scan button and I got the following error....0x80004003 - the dialog box says "Windows Defender encountered a problem. Invalid pointer." Does this mean I'm going to have to unistall and then reinstall Windows Defender or is there an easier fix?
