[RESOLVED] no audio from DVD
have a new system (see below)...everything works great except no audio from the Lite-On DVD. Audio works for CD-RW and everywhere else. The CD-RW & DVD I already had on previous system. Nero installed just fine but when I went to install the Power DVD software it asked for the product key....which I somehow had not written down ( I keep all product keys, etc..on file...don't know why I missed this one..
). Could this be the reason? I thought that Power DVD was just for enhanced video watching...?? I even tried connecting the little 4 pin (?) audio connector from DVD to m/b cd-audio spot but no go...was under the impression that that connection was not needed anyway...but I tried it nonetheless...checked in Bios...didn't see anything there ...unless I just missed it...??
