I've recently purchased a Sony VAIO FJ170. It comes with XP Home and I'm using Verizon DSL.

I've managed to remove all sounds related to actions, but I still have the normal sound on start up. I've done everything I can even muting the speakers. What will get rid of this annoying, and very loud start up sound?
