Final Fantasy XI issues.
Hello! I don't know much about computers, but I do know a little. I got Final Fantasy XI for my PC for Christmas (I used to play on PS2). I installed the game completely (4 hrs completely) and when I went to play the game it said I needed to have a faster Graphics Card and error'd out. Ok, so I look at the box, and it says I need a GeForce series with 32 MB or RADEON 9000 series Graphics card. I have a brand new Compaq Presario computer (it's about 3 months old) It's model number is SR1503WM. When I checked the Video/Graphics in the SETUP it gave me the option of PCI Card or ONBOARD. It also gave me the option of 1MB or 8MB. My question is, is there any way to make this system run Final Fantasy without buying a new Video card? And if not:
1. Would I need to buy a GEFORCE series with 32 MB or RADEON 9000 series Graphics card or would any graphics card with atleast 32 MB work?
2. And also, would I need to buy one with a PCI Card instead of AGP? My stepfather said AGP is faster, but I may not have the available slot to install it?
Ahhhhhh I'm starting to think maybe buying a PS2 would get me back on FFXI quicker and faster, any help would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
