Watch Out For This Worm From AOL Instant Messenger
Within the last few days I have had several calls from people with infected computers from using the popular AOL Instant Messenger Program. What happened in this. They got an instant message from a person on their buddy list with a link to click onto. The link was a My Space link with something in it that said "Is this your picture" and it had a .jpg extension in it. A very innocent looking link. Of course most kids want to see if it was indeed their picture. Once they click onto this link their computer now becomes infected and automatically sends instant messages to everybody on their buddy list. If their buddy click onto the link then they too become infected. I didn't have much problem removing the worm but I don't know of any uninstaller for it. Anyway, here is a link with an article on the worm. Go here >http://news.com.com/AIM+worm+plays+n...3-5920403.html
