I seem to have lots of bad programs in my computer and don’t know what to do. It was ok until yesterday, when my antivirus program, McAfee downloaded something to update and when I restarted the computer this morning it won’t get connected, and every time I try to open something related to the internet, or to browse any directory, there is a window telling me that an potentially unwanted program has been found (newdotnet6_98.dll and newdotnet6_90.dll), and the application won’t find any connections. I think it has something to do with the McAfee download, because I restored the computer to an early control point and it worked again, until that same window appeared about the update, and after that, if I don’t exit the McAfee program, it won’t get a connection.
I think I’ve followed the instructions on the “Rules for HijackThis forum” correctly. I ran both, ad-aware and spybot and also ran two anti virus programs and downloaded all updates for windows that I needed as requested. The thing is that if I run those programs more than once everytime there are new problems, dialers and stuff like that. It seems that they’re entering my computer all the time! But if I run my McAfee program to prevent them from entering while I do all the steps, then I won’t get connected! And I can’t do all these things without connection, can I?
