    Outlook 2003 Contacts

    Hi,

I am using Outlook 2003. I have a huge list of contacts that appear when I'm typing a recipient to an email. These users do not appear as "contacts" though, they are simply just remembered. I would like all addresses that I type to automatically become contacts, and all the currently "remembered" email addresses to be available in my address book so I can pick them from a list instead of having to type them for them to appear.

Any idea how I can do this? Thanks.

Guessing you've been through all the options and did see anything. Best you can probably do, is right click on the address once they are in the "TO" line and select the add to contacts options.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

There is an Outlook setting to automatically add new addresses to the Contacts list. Clicking on the To button when creating a new e-mail message should bring up the Contacts list. If either of those items are not working, let us know what happens when you try them.

Where can I find the option to automatically add to contacts?

From the Outlook menu, click Tools, Options, then click the E-Mail options button. There should be a check box for "Add people I reply to to Contacts".
