AMD processor question...
i was looking around www.tigerdirect.com and i noticed that there was a an AMD Athalon 64 3200+ desktop listed under "3.0 GHz and above"... last time i checked, 3200+ was only 2.0 GHz... is there somthing i dont know about amd processors or is this an error on their part?

Well that is AMD's "performance rating" system, it's based on how fast it performs in comparison to some nominal standard. To be fair, clock speed alone is meaningless as a measure of performance these days, and Intel have dropped it in their naming scheme too.

The 3200+ runs at 2200 MHz. Here you can find a table which shows what the clock speed is for AMD processors. The article itself is a comparison of the 3200+ to the P4 3 GHz.
